QRBox was founded by retired educators, Pam and John Snakenberg. In February of 2018, the Snakenbergs were heartbroken to hear of the events that took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas. While discussing the tragedy, they both acknowledged that teachers and students would continue to be vulnerable to active shooter scenarios.
It was then that they started to think of solutions to help deal with the alarming frequency of mass shootings across America. QRBox was born from a desire to help protect the most vulnerable – schools, hospitals, and office environments.
